Unfortunately for the Nitro Madness team they kicked
a rod out Friday night in Qualifying. They returned
Saturday to qualify 6th before finding an oil leak and
with safety in mind, Scott withdrew from competition
before elimination rounds.

Before any eventual winners are crowned let’s lay
the groundwork for how this event unfolded. First
round of eliminations as you can expect came with a
plethora of exciting passes starting with the C field. Up
first was Jack Doyle against John Cross, Doyle come
out on top with a 4.77 at 142mph over Cross at 5.44.
